Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, repair and maintain crushing, screening and processing equipment at our Texas site. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize plant reliability and support production goals.

The role requires welding, fabrication and hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plus a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical maintenance capability in quarry, mining, aggregates, manufacturing, construction materials, or other heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and hydraulic equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective repair solutions.
• Proficiency in welding, cutting, fabrication, and the safe use of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain crushing, screening, conveying, and processing equipment to maximize plant reliability.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support production goals.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding-related issues and implement effective repairs.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment performance.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
