Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southwest Agg LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain crushing and processing equipment at our Chico, TX site. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize plant reliability and support production goals, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding-related issues for effective repairs.

You will ensure safety and compliance, participate in continuous improvement, and maintain a safe work

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance capability in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics.
• Welding, cutting, fabrication using safe maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain crushing, screening, conveying, and processing equipment to maximize plant reliability.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support production goals.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding-related issues and implement effective repairs.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment performance.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
