Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a skilled mechanical technician to perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation at our U.S. facilities.

You will inspect equipment, read drawings, install and align mechanical systems such as conveyors and crushers, and collaborate with team members to complete planned and unplanned maintenance while upholding a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capability in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to safe work practices.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
