Job summary

CGC Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Wheatland plant to perform troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.

You will work with motors, hydraulics, conveyors and production machines following diagrams and manuals. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a similar role, strong blueprints/hydraulics reading, welding experience, and a collaborative mindset to support safety and Lean Six Sigma improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Journeyman Mechanic, Millwright, Machinist, Welder or equivalent.
• Reading blueprints, machine, electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Effective teamwork, problem solving and communication skills.
• Regular attendance and ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends.
• Travel may be required during training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Work with motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors and production machines.
• Use plant work order and maintenance systems and help drive lean improvements.
• Operate hand/power tools, cranes/hoists, rigging, welders and fall restraint devices.
• Adhere to safety, housekeeping and continuous improvement standards.
