Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southeast Agg LLC is seeking an experienced Aggregates Mechanic Svc Tech to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain crushers, screens, conveyors, and related equipment at our U.S. locations.

You will perform preventative maintenance and component changes to maximize uptime and work on fabrication, installation, and mechanical repairs in both plant and field environments. Candidate should be proficient with welding and various hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools, and able to read

Qualifications

Proven welding and fabrication experience with cutting and repairing heavy equipment.
Strong ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems including crushers and material handling equipment.
Proficiency with welding, cutting, and use of hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical drawings to complete work.
Effective communication to collaborate, train others, and build relationships.
Willingness to travel and work varied hours in field environments.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain crushers, screens, conveyors, and related equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to maximize uptime.
Execute fabrication, installation, and mechanical repairs on plant and field equipment.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and vendors to complete projects safely and on time.
Promote safety culture and ensure MSHA and company compliance.
