Job summary

ORBIS Corporation, a leader in reusable packaging solutions, seeks a Maintenance Manager for the De Forest, WI site. You will oversee the on-site maintenance team and ensure reliable operation of production equipment and facilities.

You will collaborate with operations and engineering, manage vendors, uphold safety standards, and contribute to maintenance strategy and capital planning to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory and team-lead abilities in manufacturing.
• Hands-on maintenance and repair of production machinery and facility systems.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Experience managing work orders, budgets, and contractors.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safe maintenance practices.
• Experience with CMMS and basic MS Office.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and equipment drawings; strong troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team and oversee daily activities.
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule work orders and repairs.
• Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance with operations and engineering.
• Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Manage vendor relationships and maintenance costs/inventory.
• Support capital planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
