Job summary

ORBIS Corporation in Urbana, Ohio seeks a seasoned Maintenance and Engineering Manager to lead a skilled team and drive safety, reliability, and efficiency across production equipment and facilities.

You will manage preventive and predictive maintenance, oversee capital projects, apply lean principles, and partner with production and quality teams to improve throughput. A technical degree and significant maintenance leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant work experience
• 2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment
• Experience in injection molding, tooling management, and facility maintenance

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and train a cohesive maintenance/engineering team focused on safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
• Oversee corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance for production equipment and facility systems.
• Direct capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
• Apply lean principles to maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase throughput.
• Use data to evaluate downtime and drive metric improvements; manage spend forecasts and monthly R&M spend.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to introduce new processes and improve equipment.
