Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator in El Mirage, AZ to support maintenance personnel, schedule work orders, and manage parts inventory for plant operations. You will respond to emergencies 24/7 and enforce safety procedures across the staff.

The role requires leading a professional maintenance team, planning on near-term targets, and coordinating with the Plant Manager on shut downs and maintenance budgets, ensuring reliable plant performance and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support maintenance personnel to achieve completion of workload along with scheduling daily tasks and work orders.
• Cross train maintenance personnel to handle all areas of maintenance.
• Maintain requests for parts, part replacements and inventory. Assemble and maintain a spare parts inventory.
• Respond to plant emergencies 24/7. Take immediate action when plant goes down.
• Follow and enforce plant safety procedures. Work with entire staff to accomplish goals safely and effectively delegate job tasks.
• Ensure the effectiveness of the maintenance staff. Conduct associate evaluations/make recommendations to Plant Manager.
• Work with departments to prepare an annual maintenance budget and support any variances.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager scheduled shut downs and maintain an ongoing list of shut down repairs.
