Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and vacuum systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and PPE.
  • Ability to enter permit-required confined space.
  • Mobile Equipment Certified.
  • Industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Experience in an industrial production setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical or mechanical systems preferred.
  • Experience with HVAC a plus.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and VFD controls and hands-on experience with installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing Electrical & Electronic Control Systems and components preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and use trade mathematics with precision measuring/testing instruments preferred.
  • Working knowledge of sensors and monitoring devices for temperature, flow, pressure, voltage, current and other parameters preferred.

Position Scope/Summary:

The Maintenance Technicianwill be responsible for assembly, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems and machinery throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

Accountability& Responsibilities:
  1. Assemble, install, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components according to schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.
  1. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery as well as throughout the overall facility.
  1. Perform minor construction tasks around the facility like painting and drywall repairs.
  1. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new equipment installations or modifications.
  2. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  3. Ability to work emergency call-ins and mandatory overtime including weekends.
  4. Performother functions asrequested by management.
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum Education:Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Minimum Experience:2+yearsof relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and vacuum systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software.

  • Ability to enter and attend permit required confined space.
  • Mobile Equipment Certified.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Experience in an industrial production setting preferred.
  • KnowledgeofPneumatic,hydraulic, electrical,ormechanicalsystems preferred.
  • Experience with HVAC a plus.
  • Knowledge of machinery operating software/hardware such as PLC’s and VFD controls and hands-on experience with installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing Electrical & Electronic Control Systems and components preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and use trade mathematics along with precision measuring/testing instruments preferred.
  • Working knowledge of sensors and monitoring devices for temperature, flow, pressure, voltage, current and other parameters preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Good hand eye coordination.
  • Will spend extended periods of time standing and walkingextensivelythroughout thefacility.
  • Ability to climb laddersand conduct aerial work on platforms.
  • Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, bend and twist.
Environmental Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
