Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks on plant equipment and machinery. The role requires demonstrating competency in on-the-job activities affecting product safety, legality and quality.

Preferred background includes 1+ years as a production operator or technician, plus HVAC, welding and electronics skills; an associate degree in electronics/electrical technology is desirable. Salary offers and total rewards are provided.

Qualifications

One or more years experience as Production Operator or Technician and/or formal training or experience.
Experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Welding, Electronics, Electrical repairs, Industrial Equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs, etc.
Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology and/or equivalent formal training and work experience.

Responsibilities

Performs scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and installation tasks on the physical plant, equipment and machinery, according to standards.
Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown; repairs/replaces worn parts and drives improvements.
Operates machine shop equipment and makes required parts when necessary.
Maintains cleanliness of work area and adheres to safety and company policies.
