Job summary

Winland Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the plant maintenance department responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment in manufacturing operations.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage a maintenance budget, and upskill staff to maximize uptime and product quality. The role requires 7–10 years of maintenance experience with 3–5 years in supervision, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, and strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• 7–10 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3–5 years supervisory/management experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Production Operations Management or equivalent field of study OR equivalent highly preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong mechanical, electrical system knowledge; PLC knowledge a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Strong computer and data skills; familiarity with business software
• Basic financial skills and understanding

Responsibilities

• Execute plant-specific vision and mission for continuous improvement.
• Ensure resources are properly allocated and used efficiently.
• Direct maintenance team leaders and hourly staff to meet safety, quality, cost, and service goals.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and repairs to maximize uptime.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage maintenance costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Maintain inventory levels for standard parts and supplies.
• Oversee GMP adherence and a professional plant appearance.
• Coordinate inspections and certifications with authorities.
• Drive training and development to enhance productivity and engagement.
