Job summary

Winland Foods in Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to supervise maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You’ll troubleshoot issues, lead preventive maintenance, and drive improvements to reduce downtime while maintaining GMPs and food safety standards.

You will manage CMMS updates, mentor technicians, and coordinate with the Maintenance Scheduler to ensure timely task execution. Strong leadership and communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Lead preventative maintenance, equipment rebuilds, and new installations, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain CMMS records and documentation.
• Follow safety policies and GMPs/OSHA standards.
• Mentor and train mechanics, technicians, and production staff.
• Coordinate with maintenance scheduler/planner and other departments.
