Job summary

The candidate will report to the General/Plant Manager, manage maintenance staff, and oversee preventive maintenance and vendor work while enforcing safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Computer/data entry skills expected.
• Demonstrated personnel managerial skills.
• Four years maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and repair of production equipment with minimal downtime.
• Report information that may impede plant operations to General/Plant Manager.
• Monitor warranties and service guarantees; notify about expirations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and parts inventory.
• Plan contract work and installations by outside vendors.
• Maintain safety programs, housekeeping, and company policies.
