Job summary

Cemstone is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator for our Minnesota plant. You will take fabrication projects from concept to completion, weld and cut on equipment, and perform preventive maintenance on ready-mix plant components while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, three to five years welding/fabrication experience, ability to read blueprints, and a welding certificate equal to or above AWS D1.1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years welding/fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, welding diagrams and symbols.
• Welding certificate equal to or above AWS D1.1 Minnesota Welding Standards.
• Experience welding aluminum and TIG welding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform metal fabrication for plant operations from concept to completion.
• Weld and cut on equipment as needed.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance on plant equipment (conveyors, mixers, etc.).
• Perform emergency maintenance and troubleshooting, including parts replacement.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and effective communication with staff and customers.
• Complete required paperwork and support the maintenance manager as needed.
