Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Plant Maintenance professional to oversee all aspects of plant repair including conveyors, electrical, plumbing, pneumatics, and welding at the Wetumpka facility. The role includes safety-focused operations, equipment maintenance, and coordination with supervisors to meet production needs.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, welding certification, and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass a physical welding exam.

Responsibilities

• Utilize all tools safely and in compliance with manufacturers' specifications; service, repair and maintain equipment per specs and policy.
• Assist in scheduling plant and equipment for work and repair; follow supervisor priorities.
• Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out and safety procedures; wear PPE; report safety items and take corrective action.
