Job summary

Cemstone in Minnesota is seeking a maintenance-focused technician to restore and upgrade used equipment, including welding and hydraulic systems. You’ll work both independently and with teams to keep ready-mix trucks operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities include disassembly/reassembly of sheet metal, wiring harness installation, inventory charge-outs, and ensuring safety standards and customer satisfaction in a family-owned environment spanning nearly a century.

Qualifications

• Must have good mechanical aptitude.
• Minnesota CDL or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and safe shop practices.

Responsibilities

• Restore, repair, and upgrade equipment to original state.
• Frequent use of welders and cutting tools; operate safely.
• Disassemble/reassemble sheet metal on ready-mix trucks.
• Assemble/install hydraulic hoses and pumps.
• Install wiring harnesses and troubleshoot as needed.
• Charge out inventory parts; work independently or in a team.
• Maintain housekeeping, health, and OSHA safety standards.
• Communicate with managers about needs and status.
• Drive and transport equipment as needed; build customer relations.
