Job summary

Vista Minerals in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot and repair machinery and electrical systems in the processing plant. You will install wiring, diagnose PLC issues, replace faulty components, and ensure safe operation.

This role requires a journeyman license, 5+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of NEC codes. You will collaborate with Operations to maintain plant uptime and participate in continuous improvement while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
Plant Manufacturing Journeyman license required.
Fluent understanding of NEC codes for safe operation.
PLC and instrumentation experience is a plus.
English language proficiency for safety and duties.

Responsibilities

Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipment.
Troubleshoot PLC issues and controls logic on plant equipment.
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus and replace damaged wires and cables.
Connect power supply wires between machines and equipment.
Replace faulty electrical components (relays, switches, motors, sensors, lighting).
Work with Operations to maintain plant efficiency and safety.
Support continuous process improvements and special projects.
