Job summary
Oxbow Energy Solutions is seeking a skilled electrician/instrumentation technician to perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, ship loader and other terminal equipment at the Texas City facility.
The role requires reading electrical schematics, implementing motor drives, instrumentation, and safe work practices with minimal supervision, and advancing plant reliability through diligent troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree or applicable certifications preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as an instrumentation and electrician technician preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and related equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and complete work orders with minimal supervision.
- Repair electrical components and motor control centers, including VFDs and instrumentation.
- Work safely per terminal procedures and regulatory codes.
- Assist in developing written safety procedures for maintenance tasks.
- Provide recommendations for improvements in operation and maintenance of plant facilities.
