Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. (CVG) is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead to guide Lean initiatives across the plant, drive continuous improvement, and improve productivity.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coaching, and collaborating with engineering, finance, production, quality, and supply chain to deliver measurable outcomes. You will implement strategies, mentor teams, and manage change while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in operational excellence or Lean manufacturing in a plant environment.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification desirable.
• Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization; excellent communication and coaching abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the deployment of Lean/Operational Excellence strategies across the plant.
• Align plant processes with corporate goals for operational excellence and Lean manufacturing.
• Conduct workshops, training, and mentoring to develop Lean capabilities among plant teams.
• Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities through data analysis and process evaluations.
• Schedule and execute Kaizen events; teach and coach on how to set up, execute, and follow-up Kaizen events.
• Drive initiatives that eliminate waste, improve quality, and optimize costs.
• Engage with plant leadership to foster a culture of innovation and adaptability.
• Develop KPIs to track progress and present updates to stakeholders.
• Partner with engineering, finance, production, quality, and supply chain for integrated solutions.
• Ensure all process changes comply with regulatory and safety standards.
