Job summary

Midway Products Group, INC. seeks an experienced Plant Manager for our Hudson, Indiana facility to lead manufacturing operations and drive safety, quality, and productivity.

You will oversee policy development, cross-functional leadership across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Materials and Finance, and mentor the plant leadership team. Strong focus on lean, continuous improvement, and building customer relationships is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or Operations.
• Ten years' experience in a related field, preferably with an automotive supplier.
• 3+ years managing direct reports.
• Experience with lean, six sigma, and/or continuous improvement.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Sets overall plant policies and procedures to ensure effective operations.
• Coordinates and directs through managers, all functions of facility operations.
• Aligns operational objectives with business objectives to drive strategy-focused work.
• Manages operating performance through the MPS process and structured problem solving.
• Directs and mentors the plant leadership team in their roles.
• Fosters an environment that promotes goals, continuous improvement, and customer relationships.
• Develops, controls, and critically reviews results of operation against objectives.
• Accountable for day-to-day decisions impacting safety, quality, efficiency and profitability.
• Represents the company locally, developing image and reputation.
• Treats all team members with respect and dignity.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
