Job summary

SP Industries Inc. is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the plant operations, focusing on safety, production, quality, cost, delivery, and inventory goals. You will develop staffing and capacity plans across all plant operations and drive a lean culture with continuous improvement and customer responsiveness.

The role requires extensive manufacturing leadership, budget planning, and cross-functional oversight to meet strategic objectives and a high-performance work environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, or equivalent operational experience.
• Knowledge of Operations Management and modern manufacturing/quality methods/systems.
• Continuous Improvement Champion with track record of improvement.
• Lean, Six Sigma, TPS, or DMAIC experience preferred.
• Demonstrated motivational and leadership skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Drive change with effective problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Mechanical or electrical design skills.
• Understanding of team dynamics.
• Must be a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, schedule, manufacture, purchase, engineer, and manage logistics and customer experience.
• Develop budgets, staffing plans, forecasts, and performance metrics; identify root causes of wastes; implement corrective actions using lean tools.
• Direct production to ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory targets.
• Manage HR issues and mentor direct reports; build an internal talent pool.
• Lead continuous productivity improvements and train team in problem solving methods.
• Direct plant operations to achieve strategic goals with cost efficiency and on-time delivery.
