Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the facility's maintenance program and staff, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

The role focuses on implementing maintenance plans, coordinating with vendors, and managing production equipment availability. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years prior experience in Maintenance/Facility and Preventative Maintenance Program management.
• Experience in Industrial/Manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and work from ladders up to 10 feet.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Maintenance department within the monthly budget.
• Monitor/implement facility equipment maintenance/safety program to ensure regulations are met.
• Repair equipment on production floor safely in line with HACCP guidelines.
• Coordinate with vendors for inventory control of parts.
• Identify parts replenishment sources when costs rise.
