Job summary

US Farathane in Riverside, MO is seeking a 1st Shift Janitor to maintain the basic appearance of the plant interior and exterior and to ensure the safe passage of all walkways and work areas. The job supports a manufacturing setting where attention to detail and safety are critical for daily production.

Essential duties include cleaning up spills in molding areas, maintaining aisles, keeping the parking lot area clean, washing and wiping equipment, removing resin from machines and surroundings,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1–3 months related experience or training
• Basic reading, writing and math abilities

Responsibilities

• Clean up spills in molding areas (oil/water leaks, material leaks, parts, etc.) and maintain proper disposal of absorbents
• Maintain aisles and walkways in the molding areas
• Keep the parking lot area clean and free of trash; tidy around storage and compactor
• Wash and wipe assigned equipment as directed by supervision
• Remove resin from molding machines and surrounding floors
• Stock cleaning supplies and secure under the mezzanine when not in use
• Follow OSHA and USF policies and procedures
