Job summary

Energizer Holdings is seeking a Senior Plant Accountant to support month-end closing, inventory controls, and internal controls within U.S. Production Operations. You will partner with plant management, SC&O FP&A, and other functions to ensure accurate inventory valuation and compliance.

You will prepare journal entries, reconcile inventories, monitor variances, and drive continuous improvements in material flow, costing, and reporting. A strong Excel background and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with Plant Manufacturing and/or Warehouse Inventory control and flow.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the plant subject matter expert for inventory accounting and controls.
• Partner with supply chain, warehouse, production, and procurement to improve inventory management.
• Prepare monthly close journal entries related to inventory and cost accounting.
• Monitor inventory transactions and material flows for accurate valuation.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts and audits.
• Lead or participate in inventory-related projects and ERP enhancements.
