Job summary

City of New Orleans is seeking a semiskilled maintenance worker to operate and maintain power and steam generating equipment across all library facilities. The role includes water filtration, purifying, and pumping equipment maintenance, and related tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age limit: 18 years.
• One year of full-time maintenance experience with common hand tools.

• Qualifying review of training and experience to determine qualifications.
• This is a noncompetitive original entrance examination per City Civil Service rules.
