Job summary

Tulane University’s Plant Operations is seeking a skilled maintainer for the medical school complex. You will perform maintenance, installation and repair of HVAC and support equipment across uptown and downtown satellite facilities, with emphasis on preventive and corrective maintenance.

The role requires hands-on experience with boilers, cooling towers, chillers, and large pumps, plus robust maintenance of power plant systems. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in welding, burning, installation and repairs of boiler, cooling towers, chillers, and large pumps.
• 5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of power plant.

Responsibilities

• This position provides all maintenance, installation, and repair activities of Plant Operations for the medical school complex.
• Provides general maintenance to all HVAC and support equipment for all the uptown/downtown satellite facilities. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance.
