Amcor is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead plant HR operations, policies, and programs. You will handle employee relations, payroll, benefits, training, and staffing for the Wright Township site, ensuring compliance and a high-performance culture.

The role reports to the HR Director with a dotted line to the Plant Manager. Requires 7+ years in manufacturing HR, strong communication, and strategic thinking. Bilingual English/Spanish and master’s degree are a plus.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to present to large groups.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; supervisory experience.
  • PHR/SPHR certification a plus; Master’s degree is a plus; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as HR leader for plant operations, advising leadership on HR best practices.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, compensation, payroll, benefits, training and staffing.
  • Maintain HRIS/automated systems, ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support initiatives including affirmative action, integrations, acquisitions, restructuring.
  • Develop HR training programs and partner with managers on development plans.

This role oversees all core HR functions—including employee relations, compensation, payroll, benefits, training, and staffing—to ensure a positive employee experience and strong organizational performance.You'll serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership, ensuring legal compliance, promoting a high‑performance culture, and providing guidance on HR best practices and emerging trends.
