And we invest in our world-class team, empowering our colleagues to unpack their potential, because we believe when our people grow, so does our business.To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com I LinkedIn I Glassdoor I Facebook I YouTubeJob DescriptionCollaborates with Hiring Managers to identify and define recruiting needs.Conducts internal and market compensation analyses to determine target new hire wages/salaries and competitive wage rate.Sources candidates through use of internal and external postings and/or use of staffing/recruiting agencies.Works with Temp Agencies to assure staffing and cost needs.Schedules and conducts interviews to determine candidates' qualifications and conducts post interview reviews with the hiring team to make hiring decisions.Prepares and presents offer letters to qualified candidates.Conducts pre-employment checks, such as drug screen, background check, e-verify and reference checks.Prepare onboarding checklist for all new hires.Conduct new hire 30/60 &110 Days reviews to gain feedback from newly hired employees to ensure proper integration to the companyPlans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.Delivers new hire orientations and ensures all new hire paperwork is completed and filed.Maintain up to date Job postingsReduce the No Operator downtime by managing an effective hourly recruiting strategy.PayrollPrepare the payroll for the hourly employees every other weekVerify all the employee hours and approvals in KronosProcess bonuses (Attendance Bonus, Overtime, training incentives, hiring bonus and referral)Process benefits reimbursements (Shoes and glasses)Collaborates regularly with payroll to ensure synchrony among payroll and Human Resources.Organize and distribute bi weekly employee paychecksMonitors vacation time for all employees.Approves and tracks all temporary associate weekly timesheets online and approves invoices.Enroll New Hire's in Time Clock SystemReview temp agencies invoices to assure accurate cost on weekly basisEmployee EngagementSupports employee performance management processes.Responsible for attendance tracking and issues Disciplinary Notices in accordance with the Attendance Policy on a bi-weekly basis.Counsels management on action to be taken in regards to employee performance and misconduct related issues and creates and delivers disciplinary warnings along with management.Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.Assist Shift Supervisor and Managers with employee relations/complaints/terminations and counsel employees.Assist HR Manager and Supervisors with annually performance reviewAssists in tending to employee relations issues.Maintains a high level of customer service to respond to all employee complaints and inquiries.Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.Investigates employee complaints and determines any resulting disciplinary or corrective actions to be taken.Conducts employee surveys, analyzes results, and presents findings to management.Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.ComplianceMaintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.BenefitsPrepare, keeps records personnel transactions and update Payroll System such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, leaves of absence and employee statistics for government reporting.Assist Outside Company with Open Enrollment for all employeesPresents benefit offerings to all new employees during the New Hire Orientations.Provide support information to employees related to medical, dental, FSA, and vision websites.Tracks wellness credits for medical plan discount.AdministrativeConduct Monthly locker audits with QAConduct Exit InterviewsMaintain up to date Staffing RosterMonthly Reporting HR KPI's Absenteeism, Turnover, Training, Retention, personal hours, headcount, attendance tracker.Prepare job postings, letters, memos, correspondence, charts, graphs, etc. for the department.Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to SQF/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.Staff are informed and held accountable for their food safety and regulatory responsibilities;Staff are positively encouraged and required to notify management of actual or potential food safety issues; andStaff are empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work.Training period will consist of a minimum of 1 month.Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
