Job summary

Movement Search and Delivery is seeking a Plant Human Resources Manager for a large, multi-shift manufacturing facility in the Detroit area. You will lead the HR function, manage a team of about six HR professionals, and partner with plant leadership on labor relations, employee relations, and workforce strategy.

This role requires hands-on experience with a unionized workforce, administering bargaining agreements, and coordinating grievances, investigations, and arbitration, while ensuring

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR management/leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with collective bargaining agreements, grievances, discipline, and arbitration.
• Experience supporting a large, multi-shift hourly manufacturing workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations for a 1,000+ employee, multi-shift manufacturing facility.
• Manage a team of approximately six HR professionals.
• Administer and interpret the collective bargaining agreement.
• Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, and arbitration matters.
• Work directly with UAW representatives on labor relations matters.
• Support hiring, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational changes.
• Oversee plant HR policies, processes, training, and compliance.
• Support compensation and other plant-level employment matters.
