Detroit Manufacturing Systems (DMS) is seeking a Plant Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions at the Detroit, MI facility. You will partner with plant leadership to drive engagement, performance, and a positive culture while balancing strategic HR initiatives with daily operations.

The role requires strong experience in union environments, change management, and employee development, with the ability to manage investigations and complex personnel issues.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Human Resources required.
• 5+ years of management/leadership experience.
• Advanced degree or PHR/SPHR desirable.

Responsabilités

• Deploy and implement HR policies and systems at the facility.
• Establish strong communication across 1,100+ employees and one union.
• Interpret CBA; address grievances, arbitration, and discipline with UAW.
• Partner with plant leadership to advance People and Culture strategies.
• Facilitate training programs for compliance and effectiveness.
• Support organization design and lead medium- to large-scale change initiatives.
• Coach and mentor leaders; promote professional development.
• Investigate team member complaints and misconduct with due process.
• Ensure fairness in personnel actions aligned with company values.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to achieve operations goals.
