Job summary

OMCO Solar, a MacLean-Fogg company, is seeking a Human Resources Manager at our Phoenix, Arizona facility. You will lead the full spectrum of plant-level HR functions and partner with the Plant Manager to align workforce strategies with operational goals.

You will build and develop the HR team, oversee workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and performance management, and ensure payroll data accuracy through Dayforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of progressive human resources experience.
• Experience with Dayforce or another HRIS system.
• Ability to lead and develop an HR team while aligning HR practices with organizational goals.
• Strong communication and HR documentation skills, with the ability to listen effectively.
• Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and sound decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage change and support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant's HR function and HR team, partnering with the Plant Manager on workforce needs.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to meet staffing goals.
• Guide employee relations, including workplace concerns, grievances, and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws; maintain HR policies and conduct investigations.
• Lead performance management, evaluations, coaching, and career development initiatives.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll accuracy via Dayforce and other systems.
• Analyze HR metrics to drive workforce effectiveness and plant performance.
• Drive engagement and inclusion, advising leadership on HR strategy.
