Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. seeks an on-site HR Manager for the Phoenix manufacturing facility. You will lead site HR operations in line with company policies, partnering with Corporate HR to support workforce planning, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

You will coach and develop on-site HR staff, drive HR programs, and ensure consistent HR practices with Holland, Michigan-based leadership as the Phoenix operation grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Org Dev, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience leading/supervising HR team members.
• Experience managing employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and corrective action.
• Experience partnering with managers and senior leaders on HR matters.
• Knowledge of federal/state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site HR partner for Phoenix plant leadership, managers, supervisors, and employees.
• Partner with Corporate HR and site leadership to implement HR strategies, policies, programs, and processes.
• Support workforce planning and staffing with Talent Acquisition and functional leadership.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance concerns, workplace conduct, attendance, policy interpretation, and corrective action.
• Manage employee relations matters, investigations, discipline, and related processes.
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation.
• Oversee HR administrative requirements (I-9, documentation, confidential records).
• Build relationships with Production, Quality, Safety, and other site functions.
