The opportunities are endless.Job OverviewThe Field Technician will be responsible for improving or maintaining the aesthetics of each client’s property.Responsibilities and Duties•Conduct scheduled property inspections to monitor landscape plants and turf for insect, disease, nutritional, and cultural problems.•Diagnose plant health issues in the field and recommend appropriate IPM treatment strategies.•Select, mix, calibrate, and apply pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, and fertilizers in accordance with label directions and Indiana state regulations.•Operate and maintain spray rigs, application equipment, and hand tools; perform daily equipment checks and report mechanical issues.•Complete diagnostic reports, application records, and service documentation accurately and on time.•Communicate findings and recommendations to Account Manager in a professional, courteous manner.•Respond to client questions and concerns.•Maintain current pesticide applicator licensing and complete required continuing education.•Follow all company safety policies and applicable EPA, OSHA, and Indiana State Chemist requirements.•Coordinate with account managers and crew leaders on property conditions and follow-up work.
