Arbor Care seeks a Full-time Plant Health Care Technician in Lewes, Delaware to provide plant and lawn diagnostics, apply treatments, and support customers with safe, effective solutions.

Must have Delaware pesticide license or obtain within 6 months, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and experience with CMS record keeping. Knowledge of horticulture is preferred. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Properly mixing and applying chemicals while maintaining records and licensing.
• Treat specific insect, weed, turf disease, and nutritional deficiencies by application of the appropriate product.
• Maintain spray equipment in safe, clean condition and ensure proper maintenance of records.
• Maintain accurate chemical usage records per federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Follow safety procedures and perform tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Read and interpret labels, MSDS, and other regulatory documents.
• Manage inventory and usage of applications, pesticides, and fertilizers.

The Position:

We are looking for a Full-time Plant Health Care Technician.

Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must have Delaware Pesticide License or receive pesticide license within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• Ability to enter information into a customer management system (CMS).
• Knowledge of plant health care, horticulture, agriculture, or related field.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience in the landscaping or horticulture industry.

Required Education:

High School Diploma.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for properly mixing and applying chemicals while maintaining accurate chemical records and licensing.
• Treat specific insect, weed, turf disease, and nutritional deficiencies by application of the appropriate product.
• Maintain power spray equipment within safe, clean, and mechanical conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of chemical usage per all federal, state, and local laws, and rules. and regulations.
• Use good judgment in the application of chemicals (weather conditions, public exposure, and environmental considerations).
• Abide by all safety procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Be able to read and interpret.
• Maintain accurate records of chemical usage according to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
• Keep MSDS books current.
• Manage inventory and usage of applications, pesticides, and fertilizers.
