A leading landscaping service provider in Nashville is seeking a Lawn Care Technician to join their team. This full-time position requires candidates to have a Delaware Pesticide License, a valid Driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include mixing and applying chemicals, maintaining equipment, and keeping accurate records. Qualifications

• Must have Delaware Pesticide License or receive pesticide license within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in the landscaping or horticulture industry is preferred.
• Experience in landscaping or horticulture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for properly mixing and applying chemicals while maintaining accurate chemical records.
• Treat specific insect, weed, turf disease, and nutritional deficiencies.
• Maintain power spray equipment within safe, clean, and mechanical conditions.
• Keep records of chemical usage per federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Apply good judgment regarding weather, public exposure, and environmental considerations.
• Follow all safety procedures and perform tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Read and interpret relevant documents as needed.
• Maintain MSDS books current and manage inventory of pesticides and fertilizers.

Skills

Knowledge of turf/plant care

Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:
