Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking a Groundman to help maintain our plant and yard operations in Texas. The role involves daily upkeep, lubrication, fueling, cleaning, and light tool use, with occasional overtime and weekend work depending on demand.

You will be part of a safety‑minded team, supporting timely maintenance and logistics across Knife River locations. Prior experience around plants or rock crushers is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Safety‑first attitude is required.
• Must pass criminal background and pre‑employment drug screen.
• Ability to provide and maintain licensure and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of the plant and yard.
• Perform routine housekeeping to keep plant and yard clean.
• Lubricate, fuel, and clean equipment safely.
• Shovel excess material from crusher, screen or wash areas.
• Operate small powered hand tools as needed.
• Lift, carry and handle materials, tools and supplies.
• Deliver parts/items between Knife River locations as required.
