Kongsberg Automotive AS is seeking a Plant Controller to deliver accurate financial information and support decision making at its Suffield, CT and Grand River, OH facilities. The role oversees FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, variance analysis, and financial reporting, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and HR to identify cost savings and ensure strong financial governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• MBA desirable but not required.
• 5-10 years of FP&A or accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with HFM and SAP is a plus.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into insights.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Partner with plant leadership to translate operational performance into financial insights, risks, opportunities, and actions.
• Coordinate weekly flash and performance reviews focusing on revenue, margins, costs, and delivery against targets.
• Provide financial decision support for cost control, productivity, capacity, and operational initiatives.
• Support pricing decisions and evaluate new business opportunities using costing models.
• Lead the plant budgeting and forecasting processes, including spending plans and cash flow projections.
• Prepare monthly forecasts in HyperKA (Hyperion) for two U.S. plants and ensure timely submission.
• Compile monthly financial reports with sales, margins, and working capital components.
• Analyze variances and trends; provide explanations and corrective actions.
• Support strategic planning and business case evaluations.
