Job summary

Yanfeng United States, Louisville, KY, is seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional to drive costing, forecasting, and financial control in our automotive interiors division.

You will partner with plant leadership and commercial teams to forecast, audit BOMs for costing accuracy, and manage monthly close reporting. The role requires ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, QAD, Plex), strong Excel skills, lean manufacturing knowledge, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year automotive industry experience.
• 5-7 years in accounting and finance roles.
• ERP experience: SAP, Oracle, QAD, Plex or equivalent.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and operational finance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership and Commercial teams to forecast weekly, monthly, and quarterly requirements.
• Review and audit BOMs to ensure accurate costing.
• Ensure financial control environment is compliant with laws and YFAI policies.
• Coordinate supplier purchase order amendments and price changes related to procurement agreements or cost reduction initiatives.
• Perform and maintain all functions related to Product Costing System.
• Monitor performance to forecast and alert budget concerns or opportunities.
• Participate in VA/VE/CR implementation timing and cost tracking.
• Produce month-end reports; supervise on-site accounting personnel.
• Prepare daily measurables for reporting in staff meetings.
• Assist department managers in data analysis.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by Plant controller or Group Accounting.

Job Description

• Partners with plant leadership and Commercial teams to produce weekly, monthly, andquarterly forecasts as required.
• Reviews and audits BOMs to ensure accurate costing.
• Ensures financial control environment is compliant with applicable laws and YFAI financial policies.

Qualifications

• Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
• 5-7 Minimum Years of Experience within a previous accounting & finance role.
• Has an inquisitive nature, willing to research and validate using common problem-solving techniques.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly, able to inspire others to improve performance.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Experience within automotive, industrial manufacturing, or high-volume production environments.
• Previous ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, QAD, Plex, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and operational finance metrics.
• Experience supporting capital expenditure analysis and investment decision-making.

Must be able and willing to travel if needed.
