Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• CPA and/or CMA certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting automotive manufacturing operations preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems such as IQMS, SAP, Oracle or equivalents preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-level financial planning and analysis, including budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, including labor, material, scrap, and overhead.
• Ensure timely month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain standard costing systems, cost rollups, and inventory valuation.
• Provide financial guidance to support plant performance improvements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Oversee inventory controls, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Coordinate financial reporting with corporate finance teams.
• Support capex ROI analysis and business case reviews.
• Develop and mentor plant finance personnel.
