Bonduelle Americas is seeking a Manager of Food Safety and Quality in Irwindale, CA. This role leads the site’s food safety and quality systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, audits, and customer standards are met.

The position oversees HACCP, QMS, and sanitation, and serves as PCQI. It requires strong leadership, analytics, collaboration, and travel up to 25% to support cross-functional teams and customers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or food science related field preferred.
• PCQI certification preferred.
• HACCP certification.
• SQF practitioner certification.
• 5 years of experience within the produce industry.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing regulatory and third-party audits.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and data sets.
• Experience with Tableau/Power BI or similar data visualization tools highly preferred.
• Personable with experience working directly with customers.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Able to travel up to 25%.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience leading sanitation teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead food safety and quality management systems at the Irwindale facility.
• Ensure FDA, USDA, state and local regulatory compliance.
• Manage regulatory inspections and audits as primary contact.
• Maintain HACCP, Food Defense, and QMS for the site.
• Serve as PCQI and oversee corrective actions and CAPA.
• Lead sanitation programs and allergen controls.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach QA team leads, technicians, and cross-functional staff.
• Collaborate with operations to enforce quality standards.
• Lead customer quality investigations and responses.
• Promote a strong food safety culture across the facility.
