Job summary

UPS is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust plant floor devices to keep conveyors and automation systems running smoothly.

The role involves assisting maintenance mechanics, solving daily plant challenges, and ensuring quick resolution of breakdowns. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, with strong electrical and network knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in programming, troubleshooting, basic network knowledge, motor control theory, and operations, including AC/DC electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics and basic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Addresses inquiries and needs from internal customers.
• Reacts promptly to facility alarms and emergency situations.
• Identifies and resolves issues as they occur.
• Conducts routine maintenance to prevent potential problems.
