Eaton’s Electrical Sector – Power Distribution & Controls Assemblies (PDCA) is seeking a dynamic Senior Accounting Analyst to join the Omaha Operations Finance team onsite at our growing plant in Omaha, Nebraska. Relocation assistance is available.

The role partners with the Plant Manager and leadership to improve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost through rigorous financial analysis, forecasting, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 5 years' related experience.
• Progressive accounting/finance experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnership.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel capability and experience with an ERP system.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance leaders and translate analysis into actions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Manager and leadership to provide financial insight and recommendations.
• Participate in plant operating reviews and planning sessions.
• Understand product engineering, quoting, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery in an engineer-to-order environment.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to improve plant performance.
• Identify performance gaps and translate financial analysis into operational actions.
• Support labor productivity, material performance, inventory, and working capital improvements.
• Provide financial support for make-vs-buy decisions and capital investments.
• Lead monthly cost reduction and inventory management activities.
• Prepare management reporting and variance explanations.
