Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s Fibrebond division in Minden, LA seeks a Plant Finance Manager to lead financial operations for the manufacturing campus. You will partner with plant leadership to drive excellence, oversee financial planning, and deliver measurable improvements.

Relocation assistance is available for candidates in the US. The role focuses on analysis, cost control, and driving transformation across finance and operations, including capital decisions and post-acquisition activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of progressive finance/accounting experience supporting manufacturing operations or similar.
• One (1) or more years of experience managing direct reports.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment sponsorship or support for this position.
• MBA from an accredited institution (Preferred).
• Experience supporting finance practices during an integration or acquisition.
• Two (2) or more years of experience as a manager of people directly overseeing finance professionals in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects.
• Support ongoing post-acquisition integration activities for the finance functions.
• Collaborate with operations to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights and monitor implementation.
• Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.
• Lead Finance Transformation activities and transition of responsibilities into Controllership.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets.
• Monitor and manage operating costs to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality.
• Implement Inventory control actions to maximize profitability and cash.
• Lead main financial processes for the site, including forecasts and the profit plan.
• Analyze project costs to provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
