Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Berwick, PA is seeking a Plant Controller to lead all accounting and financial activities for the site. You will oversee monthly close, financial reporting, forecasting support, and cost/inventory accounting, partnering with site leadership to drive accurate results.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 4+ years of experience, with strong US GAAP knowledge and ERP system proficiency (Visual Manufacturing, OneStream).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting or financial experience in a large company.
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP and Revenue Recognition policies.
• Ability to learn ERP System – Visual Manufacturing as well as OneStream.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills – Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities for the site.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Ensure accuracy of site results per US GAAP and corporate policies.
• Analyze monthly results and explain variances to forecast/budget.
• Prepare financial reporting packages for corporate finance.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through timely reconciliations.
