Job summary

Sika is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to join our Gastonia, NC team. You will lead plant-level financial operations, establish and maintain site accounting processes, and act as a key financial resource for operations leadership.

Responsibilities include cost trend analyses, month-end closings, MIS reporting in Hyperion, and driving EBIT-improving projects while ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in plant and cost accounting.
• 4-year degree or related experience, preferable in manufacturing and/or automotive industry.
• Excellent accounting knowledge including GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Familiarity with modern inventory control methods.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Gastonia Manufacturing accounting processes, procedures and initiatives.
• Analyze manufacturing cost trends and perform monthly cost analysis.
• Reporting OPEX and participating in monthly OPEX conference calls.
• Implement and ensure Manual of authority is respected within the location.
• Prepare MIS (P&L) reports and other regional/corporate reports in Hyperion.
• Assist VP of Operations with EBIT improvement projects and month-end closing.
