Job summary

Alltrista Plastics LLC, a Jadex Inc. subsidiary, is seeking a proactive financial controller to lead the plant’s accounting functions and align reporting with corporate directives.

You will manage cost accounting, general ledger, budgets, forecasts and capital spending, delivering timely financial analyses to guide management.

This role requires independent leadership, manufacturing accounting experience, GAAP compliance, and a drive for continuous improvement in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of general manufacturing accounting experience.
• 6–12 years of proactive financial analysis and reporting using spreadsheets and databases.
• Ability to lead financially and work independently.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the plant cost accounting system and inventory GL.
• Maintain General Ledger and reconcile subledgers.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts; manage cost accounting improvements.
• Provide financial analyses and interim/periodic statements.
• Lead weekly/monthly sales forecasting for the plant.
• Manage fixed assets and capital spending reporting.
• Support continuous improvement and team collaboration.
