Job summary

Michael Aaron Staffing, LLC represents a large privately held manufacturing company seeking an experienced Plant Controller to oversee the financial operations of a manufacturing facility and partner with plant leadership.

The right candidate will be a hands-on finance leader with strong cost accounting and an operational mindset, comfortable on the plant floor, challenging costs and processes, and translating financial data into profitability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing accounting/finance experience.
• Strong cost accounting, job costing, inventory, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
• Hands-on, analytical, operationally focused leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Oversee job costing, standard costing, inventory control, and variance analysis.
• Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Analyze labor, material, overhead, and production costs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to drive profitability and cost efficiencies.
• Maintain strong internal controls and accurate inventory valuation.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership.
• Lead and develop plant accounting personnel.
