Job summary

Alltrista Plastics LLC, a Jadex Inc. subsidiary and leading manufacturer of precision injection molded parts, seeks a proactive Financial Controller to join the plant management team. You will oversee cost accounting, general ledger, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting to support operational decisions.

You will lead monthly and weekly forecasting, manage capital projects ROI analyses, and ensure GAAP compliance while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 3–5 years of general accounting experience in manufacturing.
• 6–12 years of experience in proactive compilations and analysis of financial information using spreadsheets, databases, and other financial reporting software.
• Ability to work independently and provide strong financial leadership.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the Cost Accounting system for the plant, including quotes and standards for materials and finished goods.
• Maintains General Ledger and ensures adherence to accounting policies.
• Performs subledger reconciliations and records transactions and assets in compliance with GAAP.
• Prepares operating budgets and financial forecasts and analyzes variances.
• Directs financial affairs of the facility and prepares financial statements.
• Leads weekly and monthly sales forecasting for the plant.
• Maintains fixed asset and capital spending reporting.
• Performs capital project analyses and ROI documentation.
• Supports a proactive continuous improvement culture.
