Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Plant Controller in Sidney, OH to lead all aspects of plant finance at a growing facility. The role partners with plant leadership, Operations, and Materials to strengthen financial discipline and improve manufacturing performance.

The successful candidate will develop the finance team, manage the month-end close, and uphold GAAP and internal controls while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with advanced Excel skills.
• 1+ year of manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• 1+ year of demonstrated leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage the Sidney finance team.
• Serve as the primary financial business partner to plant leadership and drive performance.
• Provide clear analysis of financial results, risks, and opportunities.
• Oversee monthly close, journal entries, and balance sheet integrity.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls; support audits.
