Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Plant Controller for its Junction City, Oregon site. You will partner with plant leadership to turn financial insight into cost efficiency and stronger margins, supporting growth as production expands for data center demand.

You'll lead a site-based team, connect daily decisions with financial results, and drive analytics, cost rollups, and working capital management to align with the annual operating plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business concentration.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, controllership, or cost-accounting.
• 3+ years experience with Excel using complex formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, reconciliations, and/or financial modeling.
• 2+ years of demonstrated ability analyzing financial performance, identifying root causes, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• 2+ years experience with ERP systems such as Epicor or something similar.

Responsibilities

• Deliver month-end analysis that explains financial results, trends, risks, opportunities, and their implications.
• Prepare the monthly operating review and report on weekly shipping trends, order rates, backlog, and net working capital metrics, including inventory performance.
• Maintain a strong control environment through adherence to SOX requirements and proactive partnership with internal and external auditors.
• Identify and resolve control gaps, and build a culture of compliance across the team.
• Improve Epicor configurations and automation by strengthening internal processes and establishing standard work.
• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate forecasts and assess P&L and balance sheet risks and opportunities.
